Need To Loose Some Weight?

Hi everyone! In the past few months I have been on a meal plan to loose weight and it has been working! I am down 16lbs! I still have about another 18lbs to go, so I am not done yet.

I found out that what you eat, how much and how often is very important if you want to loose weight. Exercise is sometimes needed, but if you are feeding your body less calories than what you burn, you would loose weight. Of course exercise would make you burn more calories, so you can eat a little bit more.

I downloaded an app that helps me keep track of the calories I eat and the calories I burn. That way I can keep on track on my daily target of calories and I make sure I don't go over. You can search the food you eat and the exercise you do.

What is the color of that?

Hi! I wanted to share this app with you as it has helped me in many occasions when I see a color that I want to use in my designs.

Of course, this app has a story behind it. One time I was going to see a client and she told me that she wanted the app to have the colors of her walls, the exact same color! So I thought, "hmm, there has to be an app that when I take a picture or aim my phone at something it would tell me the exact color with the code", and for sure I checked it out and there it was! It is called ColorSniffer.

You just point at the color you want to see and it tells you the code and name of it. It is great! Just make sure you have enough light (not too much, not too little) to get the correct color.

Fun app!

I am back again giving you a review of a very fun app I found out over the weekend. I have always liked to draw, but I am not very good at it, specially with faces.

I have been taking some classes and I am getting better at it, but I have a lot of work to do. But of course with technology these days, I can create a really cool face with just a swipe of my finger.

With this app you can create your face or faces of your friends and they look very cool! You can change hair style, eyes, lips, bone structure, ears and much more.

BINGO!

I am just getting into the world of games with my iPhone. I think it is about time as I have had my iPhone over a year ago. I have been using my phone mostly for work and marketing and of course Facebook and Instagram!

The other night I was a little bored, so I started looking for games and I found this great game, Bingo Run.

I remember when I was in Colombia, there was a Bingo place at the mall and it was the place to be! It was very cool and basically you could take your date there, play some Bingo, drink, eat and with a little luck be able to yell that exciting word, BINGO!

This app is great. It has some background music, you can hear the numbers and letters being called and you play against other users, about 80 of them. It is very fun and exciting.

Track your steps

Since it is January and it is the month of new resolutions and making changes in our lives for the better, I thought of talking about this app that could help you get fit in an easy way. Here is the story...

One day I had just had a huge Colombian meal, I mean, it probably had about 2000 calories! It was delicious! I felt so full that I thought, I need to go and take a walk, so I went to the mall with my girlfriend.

On our way there, I was wondering how many calories I would loose by doing this walk, I bet there is an app for that, low and behold, I checked the app store and there was! It is called Walk Star. It tracks your steps, distance, speed and calories. It gives you a star for every 1000 steps and all you do is open it, put it in your pocket and start walking. Pretty cool!

Great App to convert pictures into PDFs files

I am always on the go and always looking for tools to make my work more effective and faster. One day I was thinking how cool it would be if I can just take a picture of a document and convert it into a PDF file.

I went searching the app store and of course I found a really good mobile app that converts pictures I take with my iPhone into PDF files! Not only does that, but you can also email those files and keep them organized. This app is free unless you want to upgrade to have other options like printing or transfer it to other places.

For me the free version has been more than enough and I have used it so many times. It is much faster than actually scanning the document in a scanner! I have used it when marketing my company, scanning receipts, business cards, invoices and much more.

Tax Season App

Well... it is tax season again and I bet we are all wondering how much we will be getting back or even worst, how much money we have to pay! I have heard that there are only two sure things in life taxes and death and it is interesting that these two words are used, I wonder if there is a relation. For sure it does feel like dead when your accountant tells you owe money on taxes.

Wonder no more, I found this free app that it is very easy to use where you can put in the data and it would tell you how much is your tax return or wether or not you have to pay, it is called TaxCaster by TurboTax.
